The New England Revolution have officially signed Israeli international defender Ilay Feingold from Maccabi Haifa, with the deal facilitated by our firm. Feingold, 20, joins the MLS side under the U22 Initiative, committing to a three-year contract through 2027, with a club option for 2028.

Feingold arrives in Foxborough with a strong professional pedigree, having accumulated 48 appearances across all competitions with Maccabi Haifa, including key matches in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. This season alone, he has made 16 league appearances, starting in 12 matches.

Beyond his club achievements, Feingold has already made an impact on the international stage. He earned his senior debut for Israel in the UEFA Nations League, featuring in full 90-minute performances against France and Italy. A product of Israel’s national youth system, he played a crucial role in Israel’s historic second-place finish in the 2022 UEFA Under-19 European Championship and was an integral part of the squad that secured third place at the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

With a reputation for defensive strength, tactical awareness, and versatility, Feingold is expected to make an immediate contribution to New England Revolution’s backline. The club’s Sporting Director, Curt Onalfo, praised Feingold’s technical ability and top-flight experience, highlighting his potential to adapt quickly to the demands of Major League Soccer.

As legal representatives in this transaction, our firm is proud to have played a key role in facilitating Feingold’s move to the MLS, ensuring a seamless transition for the player and club.

Feingold’s addition strengthens New England’s defensive depth as they prepare for the 2025 MLS season, which kicks off on February 22 against Nashville SC.
